What a great day to cut the ribbon on the Handyman Ace Hardware Disc Golf Course.? Lot’s of folks came out Saturday October 30th to see the Mayor of Fairborn, Joan Dautel read several proclamations and throw the first disc to officially open what is already rumored to be one of the best courses in Ohio.? Here Joan presents a Proclamation to David Grimes of Handyman Ace Hardware.

After the ceremony dozens of golfers took to the course.? Fairborn Self Storage is proud to be sponsoring holes #2 and #10.?? Brad Lightle and Rob Degenhart at #10 tee.

also thanks to the Fairborn Parks Advisory Board and all the other hole sponsors. Brad and I played 11 and 10 over par respectively for our first round from the white tees with pin placements in the A location.? We will look forward to playing several more time before the weather sets in.? The course plays difficult, not like the wide open ranges of Eastwood Park of the early 80’s where many of us got our start.
